In oktober 2025, Japan had the highest rate among 20 countries (6,4%) and Schweiz the lowest (-1,1%). 6 countries rose from the previous month and 12 fell. The euro area figure was 1,9%.

These figures are the 12-month change in a price index (how fast prices rose), not the price level or the size of a bill.
