Analysis standards
Every report starts from structured data published by official bodies whose licences allow commercial reuse, and from openly licensed interest signals. We record the licence and the date we checked it for every source.
- Each paragraph lists the data it relies on. A number that does not come from that data blocks publication.
- Confirmed facts and scenarios are kept apart. Scenarios carry no probabilities or invented figures.
- Country versions are produced only when that country's own official data supports the analysis.
- We do not rewrite or translate content published by other media.
- Before publication, automated checks confirm that every number in the text appears in the cited data, that every paragraph cites its data, and that the wording avoids advice and press-style claims. They also flag possible mix-ups (a rise described as a fall, a 12-month change described as monthly, two differently defined statistics compared directly) and hold those reports for a person to review.
- Automated checks cannot confirm that every interpretation is right. Topics touching crime, elections, war or disasters, health or personal data are held until a person approves them. Reports on interest rates and borrowing describe the official figures only and never recommend what to borrow, buy or sell.
- Profiles of public figures use only their public career data (occupation, works, awards). We do not cover why a person is in the spotlight, their private life, or photos.
